Cabacci is situated in the small Andalusian town of Guadix, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, in the province of Granada. This family-run equestrian centre offers riding instruction and trekking, together with full accommodation and private swimming pool, a marvellous holiday opportunity that you will remember for the rest of your life. We offer a range of programmes which cater for all levels of riding, from beginners to experienced riders. Riding takes place all year round in the beautiful surroundings of the Sierra Nevada natural park whose borders stretch down from the mountain range above, and in the deserts of Andalucia.

SUMMARY OF OUR ROUTES

Riding Week

This programme is designed for beginners who would like to spend a week learning to ride in both the school and in nature. During the week you will be taught to control your horse at walk trot and canter and be able to go out on rides.

Radial Routes

Radial routes that take riders through the variety of sceneries that make up the Sierra Nevada natural park: Deserts, rich red Colorado-style canyons carved out of the local red clay, valleys full of the melting ice water etc. Riders will return to the riding centre every night where they may stay in either the on-side wooden chalets or the adjoining Hotel Cuevas.

The Dark side of Sierra Nevada

Circular route for riders who wish to combine the spectacular wild sceneries of the northern face of the Sierra Nevada, the discovery of altitudes of over 2000 meters high and the pleasures of riding while staying in comfortable hotels and savouring the delights of the local Andalusian cuisine.

Southern Heights

This linear route takes you from Guadix, over the top of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and down the opposite side towards the famous "white villages" of the Alpujaras. Here you will see fantastic scenery and wild terrain, riding your horses by day and sleeping in comfortable hotels by night.
